September 12, 2021 Discovering the Mysteries of the Kingdom Message #1: Discovering the Secret of Loving like Jesus

In this message Pastor Andrew teaches through Luke 10:26-37, the story of the Good Samaritan. Jesus is helping us understand one of the mysteries of His kingdom in challenging us to love like He does. In studying this passage, we have to face our lack of compassion and turn to Him to pour his love into our hearts so that we can love others.

Life Group Questions:

What creates compassion? Are there ways that we can increase our compassion?

The Holy Spirit will give you the love you need to give away to others (Romans 5:5). We must position ourselves to receive it. What does that look like for you? When/Where/How do you put yourself in that place to receive His love?

How can we discern between a “divine interruption” from God and a “distraction” from the enemy of your soul?

Leadership Axiom: “As Leaders, when we compromise, it gives permission to those who follow us to do the same…” Have you seen the compromise of leaders lead to many others to compromise as well?
