1. New Spiritual Formation Classes Offered

Beginning in September we will be offering the following classes: Alpha, Insights into the Old Testament, Freedom in Christ, Dwelling in Christ, Enriching Your Marriage, Parenting and The Discovery: A New Believers Class. Pray about participating in one of them.

2. 30’s & Unmarried Small Group

A new small group started for folks in their 30’s and who are unmarried. The group meets on Thursday nights from 7-8:30pm. Call Dave Dahlberg at 519.4507 for location.

3. Young & Married’s BBQ

If you & your spouse have been married less than seven years, we’d love for you to join us for a bbq and swim party at 12:30pm on August 29.  Bring a suit, towel, $5 for lunch and your kids to 116 Landmark Dr.

4. Baptisms

If you’ve never been baptized, consider making this public declaration of your decision to follow Jesus. Call the church office to get signed up. 

5. Divorce Care Seminar

The Growing Place is proud to offer this new group for those who’ve experienced divorce. The group kicks off with  seminar from 9am-3pm on Sat, September 11, followed by sessions on Tuesday nights from 7-9pm. Call 624.3131 to get signed up.

6.  Love Chico Events

NC is hosting a city-wide gospel choir benefit concert August 29. Love Chico is taking place September 26 and registration for projects is available online at www.lovechico.org.

7. Kingdom Class

Pastor Larry is teaching a two day seminar on Kingdom Transformation Friday, August 27 from 6:30-8:30pm and Saturday, August 28 from 8:30am-3pm. Please register by calling the church office at 343.6006 or email larrylane@ncchico.org (put LGLOSTW in the subject line). This seminar is free.

8. Car Needed for Missionaries

Are you upgrading and looking to donate your old car. One of our supported missionary couples in Mexacali is in need of one. Call Mark at 343.6006 if you have one to donate.
