“…true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks…for where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom”
A core value of Neighborhood Church is to be a place where God is adored, worshiped, praised and given the glory and honor He deserves. We strive to encounter the true love and boldness of God in our worship so that outside our services, we can impact our peer groups, work environments and homes in an honest, loving and authentic way. We believe that as we worship God, we will encounter Him and His presence for His word says, 'He inhabits the praises of His people'. This is what we seek; to praise the living God and encounter Him in a true and authentic way.
We believe that worship is about so much more than just music and songs, it’s about an intentional choice to give back to Him what He has so lovingly gifted us with. We recognize that He is the source of every good and perfect gift and in view of His abundant mercy, we offer all that we are!
Another core value of ours is to empower and develop worshipers who are about leading the people of God into a place of worship and encountering Him in an authentic way. We value excellence in all we do and seek to raise up leaders and teams who are gifted servants, walk in community with one another and are sensitive to the leading of the Spirit of God.
Currently, we have six worship teams who believe it is not about performing but being a community of worshipers working together for the greater purpose of extending His kingdom. We have a gifted team of leaders who oversee our worship ministry and are dedicated to creating a community of worship leaders, musicians, sound technicians, those gifted in technical creativity and musical expression to walk together in relationship and purpose. We follow a protocol where promotion and opportunity is established through relationship and character, not just through experience and skill.
If you are interested in being a part of the NC worship ministry watch the bulletin or our website for info on the next worship try out or contact Daniel Blackman or Zack Curry, the worship team leaders.
