Worship / Tech Director

I am blessed to have been born and raised in the great city of Chico. I am the oldest of three brothers and am a HUGE Giants fan and Apple fan boy! I attended Chico Christian School from pre-school through sixth grade and from there I moved to Champion Christian School for junior and senior high school. College was an 'in and out' experience. I never really knew what I wanted to do. I was in school for a time before I took a sabbatical to pursue some musical opportunities God laid in my path. During that time period I had the opportunity to mix sound and run production for some major christian artists and through some gifted connections and was able to co-start a music rental business from 2005-2010 with a good friend of mine. During those years I met my beautiful bride Katie and we were married in the summer of 2008. Together, Katie and I have a deep passion for leading worship and we both lead on a regular basis. My passion for worship extends beyond the fact that I love music. It stems from a desire to see lives transformed and renewed from encounters with God's manifest presence. I have been on staff at Neighborhood since early 2003 helping oversee the technical and musical ministries of the church.

God has challenged me in my walk with Him to challenge others to make sound, lighting, worship and all other technical aspects the best that it can be for His glory and majesty! My prayer and desire for our church is that we would continue to walk in the wholeness and goodness of our great God together as a family. I am so very blessed to be able to serve alongside such a great and gifted staff at this church!
