I was raised in this beautiful city that we call Chico… My journey with the Lord did not begin until I was 16 and met my husband Erick. I accepted the Lord into my heart and was baptized when I was 18. We got married when I was 19 and a year later our first child Erick Jr. was born. It was six weeks after his birth that we realized that he was going to be disabled.  What a realization that was for a young married couple!  However, Jesus took us by the hand or often holding us very close as we made our way. Erick was a gift directly from God and that is how we took care of him.

In 2005 we had our second blessing Isaac. He is a healthy, growing, and loving boy!! He loves his family, loves his friends and loves Jesus. When Isaac was 4 and Erick 9 we felt God put it on our hearts to become Foster Parents. We were blessed to have 3 boys that we feel in love with. It is because of the 3 boys that Isaac started CCS. Soon after school started I got the email for the job here at Neighborhood. I applied and got the job. I truly feel like this is where God wants me.
